Course Description
This is a basic course in aircraft mishap investigation designed to train pilots, maintenance personnel and other technical experts in the techniques and procedures for investigating aircraft mishaps. The course is based upon USAF investigating and reporting procedures but can and has been adapted to the requirements of other military services. The course, if taught at the DoubleTree Hotel San Pedro in Southern California will include hands-on experience at the SCSI Crash Laboratory. This course can be taught at a location of your choice. If the course is at your location, SCSI will work with you to either create a suitable "crash" exhibit or provide case studies. The course can be tailored to meet anyone's training needs and regulations. This course has also been conducted successfully in foreign locations including Australia, Singapore and South Africa

This course covers all aspects of investigation from applicable rules and regulations through investigation technology, analysis and reports. The participant develops an understanding of the entire investigation process and is well prepared to participate in future investigations. Course Administration
This is a contract course to be delivered at the customer’s location or at the DoubleTree Hotel San Pedro in Southern California utilizing the SCSI Crash Laboratory. The course is 9.5 days (76 hours of instruction). Classes start at 0800 and end at 1700 except on the last Friday when classes end at noon.
