The purpose of this course is to prepare senior officers for the duties involved in investigating and reporting Class A Flight Mishaps as either the President of a Safety Investigation Board (SIB) or as its legal counterpart the President of an Aircraft Investigation Board (AIB). Essential to this understanding is the basic investigation tools and personnel that are made available to each of the investigations, the inter-relationship of the investigations, such as evidence sharing, and the formulation of the end product – the reports.

This is a contract course designed to be delivered at the customer’s location or at the DoubleTree Hotel San Pedro in Southern California. The course is 4 days (32 hours of instruction). Classes start at 0800 and end at 1700.
